Stories are individual content items that live inside Block segments. Each story represents one news item, interview, or content piece in your show.
How to add a story
- Inside a Block segment, click the + button.
- Enter a title (e.g., "City Council Vote Results").
- Optionally fill in:
- Slug — A short identifier used in the control interface.
- Script — The full script or teleprompter text.
- Notes — Production notes visible to your team.
- Click Create.
Editing a story
Click on a story to expand it and edit any of its fields. Changes save automatically.
Moving stories
You can copy or move a story to a different segment or even a different show:
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the story.
- Select Copy/Move.
- Choose the destination segment.
- Confirm.
Deleting a story
Click the three-dot menu on the story and select Delete. This also removes all elements inside the story.
Tips
- Keep story titles short — they appear in the live navigation during broadcast.
- Use the script field for teleprompter content so your anchor can read directly from the rundown.
