Duplicating a show creates a complete copy of its structure — all segments, stories, and elements — so you can reuse a proven rundown layout.
How to duplicate
- Go to the Rundown list page.
- Find the show you want to copy.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the show card.
- Select Duplicate.
- A new show is created with the name "[Original Name] (Copy)" in Draft status.
What gets copied
- All segments (blocks and breaks) with their order
- All stories within each segment
- All elements with their types, integrations, trigger modes, and durations
- Field update configurations
What does NOT get copied
- Show status (the copy always starts as Draft)
- Execution logs from the original show
- Scheduled execution times
Common use cases
- Daily shows: Duplicate yesterday's show and update the stories for today.
- Templates: Create a "template" show with your standard structure, then duplicate it for each new broadcast.
- Post-mortem edits: Duplicate a completed show to adjust and re-run with changes.
