Smart Rundown organizes your broadcast into a three-level hierarchy. Understanding this structure is essential for planning and executing your shows.
The top-level container. A Story represents one complete broadcast plan — for example, "Evening News — March 6" or "UEFA Champions League Final." It has a status (Draft, Ready, Live, Completed, Cancelled) and contains all the Segments for that broadcast.

Segments divide your Story into logical blocks. Each Segment groups related cues together. Examples:

Elements are the individual cues inside a Segment. Each Element fires one action when executed — a graphic IN, an OBS scene switch, a PATCH update, or any other supported integration action.
