Smart Control is the module you use to operate your graphics during a live broadcast. It provides large, touch-friendly buttons that trigger overlays, update text, and run automated sequences.

What can you do with Smart Control?

• Bring overlays IN and OUT with a single button press
• Update text live (change a name on a lower third without rebuilding)
• Run Action Sequences — automated multi-step workflows (IN → update text → wait → OUT)
• Control external tools — switch OBS scenes, trigger vMix overlays, call HTTP APIs
• Use keyboard shortcuts — bind any key to a button for faster operation

Two interfaces

Smart Control has two separate interfaces:

Builder — Where you design your control panels. Add buttons, configure actions, set colors and labels. Requires Editor role or higher.

Client — Where operators use the buttons during a live broadcast. Clean, distraction-free interface. Requires Operator role or higher.

SmartPanel's Action Sequences let you automate complex workflows. Instead of manually pressing IN, typing new text, waiting, then pressing OUT — a single button does it all. No other cloud-based broadcast graphics platform offers this.
