A Rundown lives inside a Show. Go to Shows in the sidebar, open the Show you are producing, and create the Rundown from its Rundowns section. Graphics, Control Pages and Spaces for that production live in the same Show.

Smart Rundown is the show coordination module for planning and executing live broadcasts. Think of it as a modern, cloud-based replacement for traditional rundown systems.
What it does
Smart Rundown lets you organize a whole broadcast into a structured plan, then execute it live. You build the rundown in advance, point each element at a graphic, a clip or an integration action, and when you go on air SmartPanel's engine handles the timing and the execution.
Key concepts
A rundown is built in three levels: Segments → Stories → Elements.
- Segments are the big blocks of your show — "Opening", "First Half", an ad Break, or a Setup segment that runs before air.
- Stories are the individual items inside a segment — one news item, one interview, one play.
- Elements are the cues inside a story — a lower third going on air, a clip, an OBS scene switch.
Who uses it
Producers use Smart Rundown to build the show before air. Operators use it during the broadcast to navigate, fire manual cues and watch the timing. Both work from the same rundown, at the same time.

- Drag-and-drop reordering of segments, stories and elements
- Per-element timing: At a set time, With previous, After previous — and a duration that either lasts a set time or holds until the story ends
- A time budget in the header comparing what you planned against what you actually built
- A pre-flight check that tells you whether the screens are listening, the clips are downloaded and the integrations are answering
- Mark ready arms the engine and starts the screens downloading, so nothing is fetched while on air
- Execution keeps running on SmartPanel's servers even with the browser closed
- Loop mode, recurring schedules and timeslot rundowns
- Execution logs with real IN/OUT times for post-show review
