Note: A Story lives inside a Show. Before creating a Story, you need to have a Show set up. Go to Shows in the sidebar, open your Show, and create a Story from there.

Smart Rundown is the show coordination module for planning and executing live broadcasts. Think of it as a modern, cloud-based replacement for traditional rundown systems.
Smart Rundown lets you organize your entire broadcast into a structured plan, then execute it live with automatic or manual graphic triggers. You build your Story in advance, link graphics to each Element, and when you go live, SmartPanel handles the timing and execution.
A broadcast in Smart Rundown follows a simple hierarchy: Story → Segments → Elements. Segments are your main blocks (like "Opening" or "Halftime"). Elements are the executable cues — a graphic overlay, a video trigger, or a source switch.
Producers use Smart Rundown to plan the show structure before air. Operators use it during live broadcast to navigate through the Story, trigger graphics, and manage timing. Both can work from the same interface.
