This tutorial walks you through creating and running your first show in Smart Rundown.

Step 1: Create a show

Go to Rundown from the sidebar. Click New Show. Give it a name (e.g., "Morning News") and click Create.

Step 2: Add a segment

Inside your show, click Add Segment. Choose Block (for content) or Break (for commercial breaks). Name it something descriptive like "Headlines".

Step 3: Add a story

Click the + button inside your segment. Enter a story title (e.g., "City Council Update"). You can add a slug, script, and notes.

Step 4: Add an element

Inside your story, click Add Element. Choose a type:

• GFX — for a graphics overlay (lower third, bug, etc.)
• VIDEO — for a video clip
• VO — for voice-over

Select an integration (Smart Graphics, Flowics, etc.) and pick the specific graphic. Set the trigger mode to Auto and give it a duration.

Step 5: Go Live

When your rundown is ready, click GO LIVE at the top. The show status changes to Live, and you can now use the playback controls to navigate through your segments and trigger elements.

Step 6: End the show

When you're done, click END SHOW. The show moves to Completed status and execution logs become available for review.
